Each turn begins with a roll of five dice. After seeing the results, you decide which dice to hold and which to throw again. You have up to three rolls per turn to assemble a set that scores well in one of several categories. Categories include matching specific numbers, forming sequences, or creating patterns like a full house. The challenge lies in choosing which category to fill each turn, since each can only be used once per game.

Scoring Categories & Strategy

The scorecard offers a mix of simple and complex categories. Upper section categories reward high totals for each number from one to six. Lower section categories require specific combinations, such as three of a kind, four of a kind, small straight, large straight, full house, or five of a kind. Filling the upper section with at least 63 points triggers a bonus. Deciding when to aim for a difficult combination versus settling for a safe score is the heart of the game.
