Core Concept

Block Fortress Duel places two opponents on opposite sides of a shared battlefield. Each player controls a small character and a fortified tower. The goal is to damage the opponent's tower while protecting your own. Success depends on how well you balance offense and defense in real time.

Building on the Fly

Players can place brick blocks anywhere on their side of the field. These blocks serve multiple purposes. They can form walls to absorb incoming projectiles, create barriers to slow an advancing enemy, or reshape the terrain to funnel the opponent into a disadvantageous position. The building system is simple but offers many creative possibilities.

Catapult Combat

Each tower is equipped with a catapult that fires projectiles. Players must aim carefully, accounting for distance and arc. A direct hit deals significant damage, but missed shots leave you vulnerable. Mastering the catapult's trajectory is essential for consistent pressure on the opponent's fortress.

Special Drops and Tools

Periodically, a balloon drifts across the screen carrying a crate. If a player grabs it, they receive a temporary bonus such as improved ammunition or a new building material. These drops can shift the momentum of a match, rewarding players who keep an eye on the sky while managing ground tactics.

Close Quarters Defense

If an opponent's character gets too close, players can use a close-range throw to push them back. This move creates space and prevents the enemy from interfering with your building or aiming. Timing this action correctly can stop a rush and set up a counterattack.

Match Flow and Variety

Each round is short and intense, encouraging players to adapt quickly. The combination of building, aiming, and resource management means no two matches play out the same way. The pixel art style keeps the visuals clear and charming, making it easy to follow the action even during hectic exchanges.
